He finished 4th in Points in his first season on the Pro Tour for Trucks in 1997. In 1998 he raced in a few Northeast Pro Stock Association races and also in a few Pro Tour for Trucks races as well. In 1999 Kenny became the youngest driver to qualify for a Busch North Series race. It was a tough rookie season but towards the end of the season Kenny started to master the demands to a NASCAR touring season. This would be Kenny’s last full season of racing for a while. |
